Hutchison Ports arrived on Grand Bahama Island in 1996 to conduct a feasibility study confirming yet another location to do business. In 1997, Hutchison Ports FCP operations commenced.  Not only did the group find the ideal location for a transshipment terminal, they further invested in the harbour, the airport, significant land holdings and the island’s largest resort property.
