Sustainability Report
At Hutchison Ports, our vision is to become the preferred partner for a sustainable supply chain. We understand that it is only by working together with stakeholders, customers, suppliers and third parties within the global maritime supply chain that we can realise this.
We are delighted to announce that for the first time, we have created a dedicated Sustainability Report for the year 2020. This report demonstrates a transparent public commitment to ensuring a long-term sustainable future for our business that supports the changing needs of people and planet.
The report illustrates our continuous contribution to sustainable development, under our three core sustainability pillars: Our environment, Our People & Our Business. Examples of global business progress through a challenging 2020 stem from a new Group-wide sustainability strategy, which has been anchored against objective medium-term targets.
We wish to highlight the importance of engagement with our people and with the port communities that we operate within, as well as the technological changes that we are making to our terminal equipment, in the pursuit of reducing our operational emissions.
