On August 13, 2022, the MSC Francesca made its maiden call to Freeport Container Port and is now the largest vessel to ever visit the Terminal. With a carrying capacity of 11,336 TEUs and an overall length (LOA) of 363.57 meters, the vessel surpassed the previous record holder which was the MSC Shreya B (11,010 TEU capacity; LOA 330.03m) that called in August 2019. The MSC Francesca also holds a width of 45.66m, drought of 14.1m, and currently sails under the flag of Panama.
