PURPOSE OF POSITION:
This position requires a person with vast experience in Accounting, Inventory or Supply Chain. The purpose of the Warehouse Analyst II is responsible for providing financial insights, analysis and controls over inventory and warehouse operations. The role ensures accurate inventory valuation, cost control, KPI monitoring and support decision making through data driven analytics.s assigned.
Education/Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Supply Chain
- 3-5 years relevant experience
- ERP experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Accurately performs multiple operational tasks assigned
- Able to work in team oriented/fast paced environments
- Excellent communication skills
- Self Motivated
- Ability to work without supervision
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook ERP systems
Essential Functions (include but are not limited to)
- To monitor and analyze inventory levels, movements and valuation
- To ensure accuracy of inventory costing (identify gaps during system downtime)
- To perform inventory turnover, aging and obsolescence analysis
- To prepare monthly COS reports
- To reconcile inventory physical counts to ERP system and identify variances.
- To advise the Warehouse Coordinator and Head of Supply Chain of any irregularity in stock holdings or significant error.
- To document and support cycle count reviews and maintain records of findings
- To document and support year end physical count procedures and maintain records of findings
- To prepare and track KPIs per Policies and Procedures
- To review daily fuel movements
- To monitor min/max levels to ensure compliance with optimal levels
- To support internal and external audit requirements.
- To assist with process reviews and improvement projects
- To strictly adhere to Company safety requirements.
- Ensure that no person is allowed to work in situations which may be hazardous. In relatively non-hazardous areas certain employees may be permitted to work alone, if necessary, but arrangements must be made to ensure their well-being.
- Ensure the prompt evaluation and expedite the appropriate action on safety complaints and employee comments on health and safety at work.
